About Murdok

A detective puzzle where the room is evidence.

Murdok is an independent browser game set in Stillsea. Every case combines original scene art, executable witness clues, and a layout that can be proven without guessing.

01

Original cases, one shared city

Characters and locations continue across cases, but each puzzle is self-contained. Murdok is not an official edition, translation, or affiliate of another puzzle brand.

02

How cases are verified

The published murderer never participates in the spatial search. Public clues must first produce exactly one layout; only then is the victim’s sole room companion derived and checked.

  1. Model rooms, objects, blocked cells, and witnesses as data.
  2. Translate every visible statement into an executable constraint.
  3. Reject cases with zero or multiple public-clue solutions.
  4. Review the scene art, translations, controls, and final murderer result.

Accessibility and controls

Murdok supports pointer, touch, and keyboard play, reduced motion, light and dark themes, visible focus, room labels, coordinates, and text alternatives for board cells.

  • Drag portraits or use Person mode and Enter.
